Arrival in Chongqing

We arrived in Chongqing, the largest city in China, 32 million people.  It is like San Francisco at rush hour on crack.  It is very Hilly and spread out.  The hotel "Le Meridian" is on a hill and next to a multilevel mall with a maze of shops, eatery's, entertainment and hundreds of people walking around.
And,  you guessed,  it on a hill.

Do you know why there are no fat people in Chongqing, China.  It is HOT.  It is on a series of HILLS.  And everyone WALKS everywhere.  Not wanting to waist a minute we headed out to the mall to check out the shops.  We found a lady selling these rubber band launched helicopters that flew up then gyroed down to earth.  So we bought a couple and played for awhile.

On the way back to the hotel we walked around the out side of the building and found two groups of ladies practicing dance routines.  One group was very traditional music and movements the other larger group was more modern.  It was hot, but everyone seemed happy.

We walked up a steep hill and found a place to purchase bottles of water.  You can not drink the tap water, and China does not have Diet Pepsi, so we must buy water.

Back to the Hotel to prepare for Kylie day tomorrow.
We can't wait!
