We are finger printed!
We spent the evening before looking for Aaron's passport and student ID. It was no where to be found! So we got him up early and drug him down to the USCIS with us. Keith and I got our prints done. We also received permission to come back with Aaron's and his ID in a couple of hours and they would let him Walk In for the prints. It is a good thing that Keith took the day off . I went to work and Keith was able to take Aaron back to the college and get his ID. And then back down to the center for his finger prints. One more hurdle jumped. Now we wait for our GOLDEN TICKET which is the nick name for the I-797 Or the form that says we are cleared to bring the kids into the USA. It is the last piece of paper needed for our dossier to China. It will still need to go to the state department for certification and to the Chinese embassy for authentication. The entire dossier gets translated then off it goes to China. That is abbreviated DTC for "Dossier to China" And that is what everyone wants to be DTC...

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Yes, today I feel like fainting. We received the note that our I800a was accepted and our check cleared the bank.. But, we are still waiting on the fingerprint appointment. And, for some odd reason we have not received any mail for the last three days. I am wondering what is going on??? Awhile back, we did not receive mail for a day. The next day, we received a note saying "the dog was on the porch!" So, of course, I suspect the dog may be running around without us knowing it!
